The Greeks believed Amethyst gems could prevent intoxication, while medieval European soldiers wore amethyst amulets as protection in battle in the belief that amethysts heal people and keep them cool-headed.

Each of our gemstones is carefully chosen for quality and colour and wrapped in stainless steel using our unique technique. Wire wrapping is one of the oldest techniques in jewellery making. It uses mechanical connections between components as opposed to soldering or other heat treatments which dominate mass production. Loops connect to each other by using different interlocking methods, with the process being completely manual and each created piece unique. 

Stainless Steel is a superior hard-wearing metal which doesn't stain, discolour or dull and can be beneficial for people that are allergic to other metals. 

A waterweave patterned stainless steel chain is included.
